Mass during Grandparents' Day at St. Margaret Mary School Dear Parents, Grandparents, Relatives, and Special Friends, Happy Grandparents’ Day! We are pleased to welcome you to St. Margaret Mary Catholic School. Grandparents’ Day is a special occasion for our school community as we welcome you, our honored guests, to our school. The students have excitedly prepared for this important day, and we are so happy that you are here to share it with us as we culminate our Catholic Schools Week celebration. Whether you are here with us in person or joining us via the Internet, we welcome you to St. Margaret Mary Catholic School. Each of you plays a significant role in the lives of our students. Your love and care for the students has helped to form them into the special young people that they are. As you have shared your faith with them, you have provided them with a living, breathing example of Christ’s love in action. We hope that you enjoy this day, and we invite you to remain connected with St. Margaret Mary Catholic School in the days to come. If you would like to receive our school newsletter, please visit our website: www.smmknight.org. Ezekiel 34 : 11 - 16abce For thus says the Lord GOD: Look! I myself will search for my sheep and examine them. As a shepherd examines his flock while he himself is among his scattered sheep, so will I examine my sheep. I will deliver them from every place where they were scattered on the day of dark clouds. I will lead them out from among the peoples and gather them from the lands; I will bring them back to their own country and pasture them upon the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and every inhabited place in the land. In good pastures I will pasture them; on the mountain heights of Israel will be their grazing land. There they will lie down on good grazing ground; in rich pastures they will be pastured on the mountains of Israel. I myself will pasture my sheep; I myself will give them rest—oracle of the Lord GOD. The lost I will search out, the strays I will bring back, the injured I will bind up, and the sick I will heal. I will shepherd them in judgment.
Matthew 28:16-20 The eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had ordered them. When they saw him, they worshiped, but they doubted. Then Jesus approached and said to them, “All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”
We invite you to contact us after Mass to let us know about your experience viewing Mass online. The Mass each week is presented as an outreach of St. Margaret Mary Church located in Winter Park Florida. Initially funded through the Alive in Christ Campaign, the equipment is operated by parish volunteers who contribute their time and talent to "proclaim from the housetops" the Good News through these modern means. We follow guidelines provided by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops in the production of our internet broadcast.
