Elizabeth Ministry
Let's follow the example of Mary and Elizabeth... The Elizabeth Ministry is an outreach to women of the parish in need of special support during certain times such as pregnancy, infertility, miscarriage, child crisis and adoption. Our purpose is to affirm, support, encourage and assist women in response to their needs. Our group has delivered numerous meals to new mothers and has prayed together for many intentions at monthly rosary sessions. If you are interested in our ministry, or know someone in need of support, call Ashley Sanfilippo  407-647-6956. or Lori Reinneck at 407-645-0284.

h     Marriage Enrichment
An 8 week group for married couples on Pope John Paul’s Theology of the Body, as explained by Christopher West.  This program calls couples to a deeper understanding of the purpose of their marriage and to a deeper respect and reverence for the gift of sexuality.  Segments of Christopher West’s DVD series on “God’s Plan For a Joy-Filled Marriage” will be the springboard for couples to participate in individual and group prayer, reflection and discussion. This small group meets for eight consecutive weeks, from 7-9 pm. Babysitting available.

The Ministry of Mother Sharing (MOMS) leads a group of women through a program of personal and spiritual growth. Through discussions and journaling, these women begin to understand how their daily experiences and reflections are intimately tied to their relationship with God.

New MOMS is the first step and is an 8 week session of self-discovery, mutual support and prayer with a small group of women.  A structured program is followed in order to create an inner awareness of the sacred self and to build community among mothers.   We offer both an evening and a morning option depending on response.

 Continuing MOMS

§         Continuing Moms/Daytime Group: The mission of Continuing MOMS at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church is to expand the spiritual growth of women by the MOMS and provide a supportive, nurturing, welcoming community for mothers.  We will achieve this through meetings that involve prayer, Gospel reflections, group discussion, special guests and applications to family life.  By growing closer to Christ, we will be better, loving servants of our families, church and community.  This group meets the third Tuesday of each month in the Upper Room. You must have completed the 8-week New MOMS program prior to joining this group.

§         Continuing Moms/Evening Group:  This is another option for mothers who have completed the 8 week program and embraces the above mission of MOMS.  This group offers a special community for working moms meeting the 3rd Wednesday of each month, 7-9 p.m. in Holy Grounds.

Letters from Dad

Turning the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of their children to their fathers…Malachi 4:6

If God were to take you home today…what would your wife and children hold in their hands tomorrow that would let them know that they were the treasures of your life?  The Answer Letters from Dad

Letters from Dad is a ministry that teaches fathers how to leave a legacy of Faith, Hope and Love through the lost art of letter writing. It helps fathers learn to write letters of blessings to their wife, children and grandchildren.  This group meets once a month in the Family Life Center.
